About us...
Quota Club of Iosco County and its Charitable Foundation together form a longstanding, community-focused organization dedicated to service, support, and improving quality of life in Iosco County.
Established in 1954 as part of Quota International's global service movement founded in 1919—the organization has a rich history rooted in volunteerism and a commitment to helping those in need. Guided by the motto “We Share,” members work to make a meaningful difference, particularly in the lives of all community members in need with a long-standing focus on individuals who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, or speech-impaired.
Quota’s efforts allow for both hands-on service and expanded financial support of local initiatives. Volunteers, known as Quotarians, bring together a wide range of skills, compassion, and community spirit. Membership is made up of individuals who are passionate about giving back and strengthening their community through active involvement, collaboration, and outreach.
Through fundraising, donations, and volunteer work, the organization supports a variety of impactful programs. These include providing hearing-related equipment and services, assisting foster children with essential and comfort items, supplying local schools and baby pantries, providing scholarships to local students, and offering emergency assistance to families in need. Events and community activities not only raise funds but also build awareness and foster connections throughout the county.
By combining service and charitable giving, the Quota organization in Iosco County continues to play a vital role in addressing local needs, uplifting vulnerable populations, and strengthening the community as a whole.
